Photo-Sort App Reviews

You can create folders within Photo-Sort and import pictures to those folders from the Photo album. However, you cannot move those back to the photo album. It will only display properly on the iPhone or iPod, Not the iPad.

Ehhhh u need to b able to set these as wallpapers!!!!!! Or remove them from a folder! Otherwisee its prettygooddd

Very easy to download & sort pictures to and within the app but extremely difficult to get them out if you want to download them to your home computer. Have learned that you need to do this BEFORE you transfer them into Photosort. Cannot connect to Icloud. - for some reason the app wont let me even though it has the option. Was not able to connect thru the wifi, keeps giving me an error message. I am now emailing the pictures to myself which is a long and tedious process since I downloaded 1000 pictures before knowing that I wouldnt be able to get them out.

Plz dont waste ur money like I did. This app falls severely short of its descriptions!

Freezes up not a good app!

It does exactly what it says it will do, and then some. And by "and then some" I mean it deletes photos that its not supposed to delete. I have a teenage son who sometimes uses my phone and I dont want him to see any of the adult-themed photos I may have saved in it, so I save them in this app because its password protected. Big mistake! Every time the app regenerates the photos (and it does it whenever IT wants to), it deletes them! Users beware! Otherwise, I would have rated it four stars for my usage.

Was going to rate it 5 stars. Went on web sight and done everything that was recommended to get the WIFI to work. The app does everything that I want it to do, but without ability to transfer well, makes the app useless.

I have been using this app for a few weeks and it is a great app and does exactly what it says it will do. I compared it to a couple other apps (will not mention of course) and chose this app over them. I reccomend this to anyone wanting to sort photos and videos. Pros, cons and bugs I have found while using this app: BUG (only one I have found so far) - When renaming pictures or videos if you change the first letter of the file, then as soon as you click "done" the app shuts off and you have to restart it. This ONLY happens when you change the first letter, as soon as you restart the app the file name has been changed to what you want and in the correct order. If you change any other part of the file name it changes it and the program stays open. PROS - I really like the three different veiws you can arrange the folders and files in. Very easy to find and move files with file manager apps such as I-File, My File etc. And basically all the other ways you can cut, copy, rename, upload, add sub folder after sub folder etc just as the app claims. The FTP works very smooth as well compared to other photo apps I have tried; partly becasue it supports a few more file types like gif for example, I havent received the first copy error yet and I have LOTS of photos and videos. CONS - Can send pics directly to email but cant send a pic directly to mms, you have to copy it to clipboard first and then past it into the message header of a text. Works fine but would be smoother with less steps if the option to mms a pic was available from within the app. No camera availability from within the app like another main photo app has, but then this program does not claim to do that either. Cant assign pics as wall paper from with in the app. Three requests I would like to see for this app are to add the availability to send pics straight to mms, be able to assign pics as wall paper and add the availability to take pictures from within the app. as mentioned above. Even without these features this is a great app IMHO. Hope this helps someone.

App does not do what it says it does.

I almost didnt buy this cause so many reviews said it didnt work. Then I read further and found a reviewer who explained that it does work if you learn how. I bought it and it is GREAT! It does so many cool things and isnt so difficult to learn. They have detailed instructions on their website but I was able to get it by experimenting about an hour and Im not a tekkie. It is worth the cost. My compliments to the makers of this!

It sounds like people dont know how to use the app. This app lets you password your pictures & access them via the app interface or using an FTP program on your pc/Mac to access and organize. Heres the trick to access via FTP - 1. you need to have an FTP program (wsftp for windows or cyberduck or Mac) 2. You need to have both your computer & your iDevice on same wifi network 3. You need to turn on the FTP access in the app. Its off unless its in use. This is the cleanest and simplest of all the vault programs I purchased. Love it!

Very slow and waste of money because you can organize photos using the default camera app of iPhone. Create album and add photo from ur camera stream or photo library

This app does not function as detailed in the description. I was unable to get a refund as well.

Finally! A smart iPhone photo album. Its clear those people having problems with this arent trying. Its uber-easy. A tiny bit jerks on the sliding of one photo to the next, but thats the only thing. Everything works fine. Great app, for 2 bucks.

This is an awesome app and anyone rating it saying that the app doesnt do what it claims is just flat out wrong. Ive actually been using the app now for about a year through iOS 4 and 5, and its never given me any errors or crashes even though I use all the features including FTP import/export. Im not saying a crash is impossible, but I saw lots of people saying it doesnt do what the description claims, which is inaccurate, and thats what made me want to rate it correctly. Dont rate the app low due to incompetence, the app maker even offers support channels if one needs help learning to use it.

Great app. I have iPhone 4s. It is easy to use and organize files. Only minor cons are already mentioned of not being able to directly mms pics and use for wallpaper. Solution is to upload the pics within this app to the camera roll to mms or use as background. The photo viewer is of high quality like the iPhones.

I find this very helpful in organizing my photos. However , when I switch from photo to photo it tends to freeze.
