Photo-Sort App Reviews

Suggested improvements to this APP: if you could use the external cables to see the pictures on a TV or projector. Presently you need to upload them into the camera roll to make this happen. Worth more than the cup of coffee I spent on this app.

Dosent save albums in photos. Very laggy!

Use the computer and folders. This app need to import photos and then organize them, it does not replace the built in photo viewer and is very laggy. Do not lose 2$ like I did.

Very complicated and many bugs. One of witch: cant transfer large videos from IPhone to computer.

I like the password protection feature & the filer organization. Could have a buildin camera feature which would make it a super app.

It works great. I can sort my iphone photos without having to connect to my pc :)

Twice now I have opened this app and found entire folders full of priceless pictures are gone, and I cant even recover on a backup restore in itunes. This is not a safe app for picture storage and I will never trust it again.

Would be excellent app, if Pics and Albums could be searchable and pictures be taken from within app!

This app is not worth the money. When you have lots of photos in it, it is slow to respond to swipes, crashes often, does not move photos from camera roll only copies and then you need to go back to delete.

「ePhoto Chest」と「Roll Swap」と試してみましたが、このソフトが一番使い勝手がいいです。 一番の理由は、サブフォルダが作れること。 「ePhoto Chest」は115円払えば、動画も管理できる機能を評価しているので、写真は、「Photo-Sort」、動画は「ePhoto Chest」を使っています。 余談ですが、「Roll Swap」はカメラロールの全ての写真を「Roll Swap」の4つあるフォルダの内1つと丸ごとスワップすることしかできないので、意外と使い勝手が悪いです。

Its buggy, you cant take pictures with it, only import from camera roll. You cant rearrange pictures in folders.

This app meets my needs and expectations. Easy to use, especially renaming of photos.

The app does what it promises, it lets you create albums directly on the iphone but then the albums are not very useable. The photos are not displayed correctly on the screen, i.e. they are not entirely visible, two sides being cut off, depending on the screen orientation. The funny thing is that portrait format images can be entirely displayed only in landscape mode and viceversa, and the pinch to zoom function doesnt help. In addition, the swipe function to move to the next photo is not smooth at all, sometimes you get stuck between two images and then the app just crashes. The slideshow feature is jerky as well. You cant move pictures within the albums other than renaming them which is annoying, and the whole naming system is kind of unpractical in my opinion. Also, it doesnt keep my viewing preferences within the albums: I set it to big thumbnails view, like in the iOS native library, and everytime I reopen the app I am brought back to the list view. All in all, I think the app has potential but needs serious work.

But it wont copy more than a couple photos at a time into a folder. Sometimes, it only gets the first. Its too much work to get photos into folders. I think theres a bug.

App does exactly what I wanted it to. I wanted to be able to store some photos in a private (passcode protected) folder, so if I hand my iPhone to a friend (or to my mom) to browse recent photos I took, I wouldnt be worried about them seeing sexy photos of my girlfriend. With this app after you move photos into the passcode protected area you can delete them out of the normal iPhone photo album. Perfect. Problem: Flipping through photos in the folders in this app is frustratingly slow! Sometimes it starts off as fast as flipping through the iPhone photo album, but then suddenly it will freeze up for a second, throwing your rhythm off, and remain choppy until you let it rest for a few seconds. Another small gripe: the folder renaming functionality is too sensitive. If you click anywhere but the small thumbnail image to open a folder, it thinks you want to rename it and opens up the keyboard in edit mode (which you must then dismiss) slowing you down again. I suggest the developer should require you to click and hold for a second to activate the name edit feature. Overall: 5 stars for doing exactly what I want. 1 star for being slow and slightly annoying. Average: 3 stars
